There has never been a better time to shine a light on stories of courageous and powerful women speaking out for equality and justice, and making profound changes in their communities and around the world.
At LWGMS, we’re always thinking about the power of sisterhood and the strength that women can offer each other as supporters and mentors. Today, LWGMS needs those supporters even more than ever, and – more importantly – the world needs us. When women lead, the world is better. When we empower young girls to do more than we could have once imagined, our future will be better, too.
Over the past 20 years, LWGMS has established itself as a leader and champion for the empowerment of girls. And since our inception, we have leased space and made it work. But recently, an opportunity arose to build a permanent, new home through a creative partnership with another local, independent school. The project will be funded with a combination of campaign contributions and long-term financing, but in order to raise more than $6 million, we need support from outside our school community. Donating to the capital campaign helps secure the future of LWGMS; preserve this vital option for Seattle families; and protect the school’s ongoing commitment to keeping tuition in check, financial aid robust, and class sizes small.
Please join us to learn more about the powerful work of this unique school, our exciting plans for the future, and how we are building confidence and compassion to inspire young leaders to change the world.
Please RSVP/Register by Tuesday, January 23.
